The “Natron” factory is located in Maglaj town in the nosthern part of Bosnia – Herzegovina  in the territory of the Bosnia-Herzegovina Federation , around 100 km north or north – west from Sarajevo.
The Government of the NR Bosnia and Herzegovina  made a decesion about the foundation of “Natron” on 07.August 1951. 
The company began in 1956. as a small factory which even then used the same  production process as the leaders in this industry which were located in Sweden, Finland, Germany, France, SAD and Japan.
“Natron” was the largest producer of kraft paper and packaging materials in the Balkans and one of the largest in Europe, before the war in Bosnia. 
Natron,s integrated production process includes : cultivation  of coniferous woods, production of electric power, industrial water and steam, production of sulphate pulp, kraft paper and modern packaging based  on this paper.
